Not to brag or anything, but I’m pretty fun. I bet you are too. That’s what sessions are all about.
Using natural light and working exclusively on-location, sessions are casual, relaxed, and without time constraints. I won’t make you sit still, hold a prop, or fake a smile. My images do not hinge on a fancy outfit or a forced moment, but rather the story of the real you—your quirks, your laughter, your serious face.
No two sessions are alike. There are however some basics that hold true for every session:
Dress simple and ready to have fun. This is a play date no matter what your age. Nothing to stress, fight, or worry over. It’s your job to have fun and my job to document it. The timeline is loose, allowing plenty of time to for everyone to relax and get to know each other. I usually shoot in the morning and late afternoon hours to allow for the best possible natural light. I prefer to shoot outside when the situation allows, however for maternity and newborn clients and in the dead of winter, it generally works better for me to come to your home.
Because I believe that your family images are….well, YOURS…..all of my sessions include your high resolution files (digital negatives) on disc and the usage and printing releases for these files. Owning your files allows you to print your images wherever you would like and use them electronically. I offer two types of sessions—they are detailed under the tabs.
